This book was written to help you go beyond your thinking and discover the truth of what you already intuitively know deep inside your soul。

Well written and definitely resonated with me。 Technically there is nothing I haven't read from other sources earlier, but it was written in a way and from a perspective that brought the ideas well together in a more approachable manner。 The book also contains some frameworks to put the ideas into practice, which I am very interested to try out and see how they apply to everyday life。 Well written and definitely resonated with me。 Technically there is nothing I haven't read from other sources earlier, but it was written in a way and from a perspective that brought the ideas well together in a more approachable manner。 The book also contains some frameworks to put the ideas into practice, which I am very interested to try out and see how they apply to everyday life。 。。。more

The concept of the book is good but it's been talked about in a rudimentary manner to the point that things mentioned seems to be baseless and very subjective。 The concept of the book is good but it's been talked about in a rudimentary manner to the point that things mentioned seems to be baseless and very subjective。 。。。more

I bought this book when I was binge-buying self-help books from Amazon in a moment of inspiration。 Although the overall message is clear, it just didn’t feel very “self-helpful。” It was a short book but still somehow was very redundant。 I was hoping for it to have a bit more insight and substance than it actually did。

The book started off really well with a scientific-psychological rationale of how the brain works。 I read this first part as an excerpt on the Kindle and it prompted me to buy the Kindle book。 The book isn't expensive so I don't regret spending the money on it。 But after a few chapters the information got repetitive and predictable。 It became much less exciting to read。 I rushed through the rest of the book。As other reviewers have mentioned, there are only a couple of main messages in this book The book started off really well with a scientific-psychological rationale of how the brain works。 I read this first part as an excerpt on the Kindle and it prompted me to buy the Kindle book。 The book isn't expensive so I don't regret spending the money on it。 But after a few chapters the information got repetitive and predictable。 It became much less exciting to read。 I rushed through the rest of the book。As other reviewers have mentioned, there are only a couple of main messages in this book i。e。 thinking leads to suffering。 I was hoping the author would build on this with more science。 But it didn't go far at all。 It was an okay read for me。 。。。more

99 pages are a little too much。 The author’s message could be explained with a couple of sentence。The book is repetitive and redundant。 I wouldn’t recommend it。

i thought this book made some good points but the whole concept of never thinking or thinking as least as possible is pretty extreme and unrealistic to me。 I dont think thinking itself is the cause of all suffering but just overthinking and intrusive thoughts。 Thinking is how you experience life i’m not sure how you can experience life without thinking。 However it was interesting and i’m sure the concept works for some people。

I have just read a really badly written book。 I wish I didn’t have to say this。 The writing is really bad。 I find the writing lacking any kind of direction or purpose, lacks the voice it desperately needs for such kind of self help/nonfiction books。Chapters are short but it doesn’t mean they are fun to read。 I thought the book would improve after the initial first three chapters but I was wrong。 It got worse。 If you are desperately looking for a few good quotes out of this book, you will find it I have just read a really badly written book。 I wish I didn’t have to say this。 The writing is really bad。 I find the writing lacking any kind of direction or purpose, lacks the voice it desperately needs for such kind of self help/nonfiction books。Chapters are short but it doesn’t mean they are fun to read。 I thought the book would improve after the initial first three chapters but I was wrong。 It got worse。 If you are desperately looking for a few good quotes out of this book, you will find it。Otherwise do not even think twice about NOT picking up this book。 。。。more

A book that teaches us to understand thought vs think and enter into a non-thinking state。 It is very Buddhist Once you understand the working principle of it We focus more on the present。 This book is easy to read, not long and complicated, with a summary of all the main works in the last chapter。 To bring us back to see the big picture and prepare us to find peace and love。

This book is so underrated! I came into this book unproductive, yearning for a cure to calm my anxious mind in face of my approaching test, and I came out renewed。 After reading (listening to) this book, I start to separate my thoughts from thinking。 Most of the time, my fear and anxiety stems from my painful past。 I stop relating one thought (my work) with another (the bad memories), and lean into inspiration, God’s “infinite intelligence”, where everything is possible in that realm。 I was give This book is so underrated! All people or situations that make you upset and angry is just like an empty boat。 They don't have power to make you angry without your own reaction。 Thoughts that distract you are mental raw materials from which we create everything in the world。 The author grosses the difference between thought and thinking and further states that thought is something that just happens effortlessly。 However thinking, is the act of thinking about our thoughts。 Thinking requires efforts, energy and willpower。 It is not the content of our thinking that causes us stress, but that we are thinking。Thoughts create。 But thinking destroys。 If we let our thinking sit without disturbing it by trying to "filter" (same as one would perform in case a bowl filled with dirty water, to let the bowl of dirty water sit so that the dirt begins to settle down and after a while, the water becomes clear。) Or " boil", thinking will settle down and our minds will become free from thinking。 It seems crazy but, we do our best work when we aren't thinking。 Also the author focuses on the negative emotions。Negative emotions are an indication of misunderstanding。The story of zen master filling The cup of tea even when the cup was already filled was very beautifully drafted。 The lesson that the zen master gave that we are so filled with ideas that nothing more will fit in。 For there to be creation, there must be space。 The same applies to our own minds。 If we want something new to be created, such as new thoughts , then you must first create space so that you can receive new ideas that can change your life。 If our mind is completely full with old thinking, it is impossible to have new thoughts to create change that you seek。 Thus, create space through non thinking。"Unconditional love is the purest form of creation。 When something is created out of unconditional love we can't help but to stand there and admire it in a way"👉Who Do I recommend this book! The book engages all those who get distacted very easily。 Even the tick tock of the clock or the dropping of pin or chirping of bird disturbs you, then one must read it。 Excellent Read! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 。。。more
